InConJunction's Anime Room is known for its wide variety of animated Japanese movies, series and shorts. The
Anime Room runs nearly all hours of the convention. The schedule is geared towards
family audiences during the day, and adult audiences during the night.
The Anime Room staff always welcomes suggestions and movie referrals. An honest effort
is made to research all suggestions and judge the suitability of each request. Studio
representatives should make contact via one of the methods below to schedule screenings
of their films or videos.

||Origin (1 Hour, 30 Minutes - Rating: PG)
Ages past, the Forest was awakened and the moon unleashed a ravenous beast upon the Earth. Three hundred years hence, some humans seek a coexistence with the Forest while others seek to subdue it. Agito, the son of an aged hero, inadvertently sets destruction in motion when he revives the young Toola, who holds the key to world-reshaping technology. With the blessing of the Forest, Agito must first save the girl from herself in order to rescue them all.
||Robotech, The Shadow Chronicles (1 Hour, 30 Minutes - Rating: PG)
Continuation of the 80's Space-Opera series that introduced many Americans to Anime. In English, with the voices of Mark Hamill and Chase Masterson.
||Animation Runner Kuromi (1 Hour - Rating: G)
Comedy. Kuromi is back and more determined than ever to make it in the Anime business. But her boss decides to quit smoking just when the workload bursts out of control. OVA winner 2005 Tokyo Anime Fair.

||Tokyo Majin Gakuen (1 Hour)
A mysterious group of students fights the "reborn dead" who are killing people to increase their numbers. The students soon realise that an even greater threat, involving more powerful demons, is near.
||Negima 2nd Season (1 Hour - Rating: PG)
A Young Mage is sent to be a teacher at an all-girls' school as his final test to become a master magician, but he must keep secret his special powers or fail the test. This is a complete retelling of the Manga by a different studio rather than a continuation of the first season, and has been better received by fans.
||Phantom Memory Kurau (1 Hour, 30 Minutes - Rating: PG-13)
2100 A.D., an accident at her father's experimental energy source lab on the Moon causes a binary alien life form named Rynax to bond with and physically restructure 12-year-old Kurau, giving her superhuman abilities but also making her a target for those who wish to study her new abilities.This is, instead, a story much more aboutrelationships, both between parent and child and between a matched pair of aliens who have integrated into human form. ||Last Quarter (Live Action Movie) (2 Hours - Rating: PG-13)
Fantasy. Chiaki Kuriyama (Kill Bill Vol 1 and Battle Royale), Hiroki Narimiya (Azumi) and Hyde (vocalist of L'Arc-en-Ciel) star in a poignant tale of lost love and undying devotion, based on the manga by Ai Yazawa (NANA, Paradise Kiss).
||NANA (2 Hours - Rating: R)
Romantic Comedy-Drama. Two young women, both named Nana, meet on a train to Tokyo. One is a punk rocker looking to expand her career and the other is going to be near her boyfriend. A further coincidence leads them to find accomodations together. Very popular and well-written series.
||Solty Rei (2 Hours, 30 Minutes - Rating: PG-13)
Super powerful amnesiac girl robot Solty shows up in a ravaged city and imprints on Roy Revant, a mercenary with a tragic past. Cliched but fun to watch sci-fi action/comedy from Gonzo (Burst Angel).
||Starship Operators (2 Hours - Rating: PG-13)
23rd century, cadets of the planet Kibi are returning from a final pre-graduation shake-down space voyage when war is declared by the invading Henrietta Alliance (aka The Kingdom). Operating a battleship requires money and supplies, though, so their new captain cuts a deal with the Galaxy Network: in exchange for financial backing, the Galaxy Network gets unrestricted rights to broadcast everything they do as the ultimate reality TV show! Set ten years after the events in Lyrical Nanoha A's, the grown-up characters are seeking trainees for a Mage group of their own.

Karin, the eldest daughter of a family of vampires, has an embarassing secret; instead of lacking blood, she overproduces it, and is driven to giving people transfusions that temporarily improve their lives.
||History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi (2 Hours)
Shirahama Kenichi is an average student who has earned the nickname "Weak Legs" from always getting bullied. One day he meets a cute girl named Furinji Miu who helps him build the courage to begin training at a mysterious dojo where she lives. Here Kenichi faces intense training from masters of many different martial arts styles as he attempts to become stronger. (summary from ANN)

||Utawarerumono (2 Hours - Rating: PG)
A man awakens in an unfamiliar village with no memory of his past or identity. The only clue: a devil-horned mask which conceals the upper half of his face but cannot be removed. Trouble won't leave the village alone, however, as a discontented former villager tries to exploit their resources, a tiger-like forest god threatens to rampage, and an unfortunate series of events leads to unintended rebellion.
||Fantastic Children (2 Hours - Rating: PG)
Children of Béfort they are called: always white-haired and blue-eyed, never living past the age of twelve, and appearing 13 times in different generations over the course of more than 500 years. Over and over again they have been reborn, always with the mission of finding a girl/woman named Tina and never having more than eleven years to accomplish their mission before they start to lose their memories. ||Coyote Ragtime Show (1 Hour - Rating: PG-13)
The "Coyote" in the title is a reference to a breed of space pirate who lives fierce and free by their own code of conduct. Like Outlaws and Cowboys...And the uncrowned king of them all is Mister. Hot on his tail are the beautiful police inspector Angelica and twelve android assassins with their nasty "Mother." Ahead of him are the untold riches left by the deceased Pirate King Bruce. He and Bruce's daughter Franca just need to get to it before it's accidentally atomized by the government... (extract from ANN review)

||(9) Shakugan no Shana (2 Hours - Rating: PG-13)
Yuji Sakai's first days at high school were entirely normal but his world is shattered when he finds himself caught in the midst of an interdimensional battle between Denizens of the Crimson World, who send out agents named Rinne to consume the existence of people in Yuji's world, and a Flame Haze, who opposes them. . (extract from ANN review) Genre entertainment done right, with depth and surprises.
||(9) Code Geass (Lelouche of the Rebellion) (1 Hour)
The Empire of Britannia has invaded Japan using giant robot weapons called Knightmare Frames. Japan is now referred to as Area 11, and its people the 11's. A Britannian who was living in Japan at the time, Lelouch, vowed to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he'd destroy Britannia. Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself. One day, he stumbles on terrorists 11's who've stolen a military secret and is caught by a member of the Britannian task force sent after them, who is Suzaku.

Ai Enma once again returns as the Jigoku Shoujo, who uses Jigoku Tsuushin (Hell Hotline) to allow people to post their grudges on their tormentors, sending them straight to Hell. In exchange, the users of the website will end up in Hell after they die. Meanwhile, a mysterious girl with purple eyes called Kikuri appears and seems to have strange intentions towards Ai and Jigoku Tsuushin's operation. (from ANN review)
||When They Cry (Higurashi no Naku Koroni) (1 Hour, 30 Minutes - Rating: R)
On one hot summer day in 1983, a transfer student named Maebara Keiichi comes to a peaceful rural village in Hinamizawa. There, he befriends his classmates Rena, Mion, Rika, and Satoko. Accepted as a full-fledged member of the "club," Keiichi and the gang plays all sorts of activities ranging from card and board games to hide-and-seek. But just as Keiichi was beginning to be assimilated in simple rural life, he stumbles upon the dark history of Hinamizawa.
||Ayakashi (Samurai Horror Tales) (2 Hours - Rating: R)
In the era of medieval Japan, while attempting to retrieve a lost falcon for his feudal lord, a bird handler encounters and becomes irresistably drawn to Tomihime, the supernatural inhabitant of a cursed castle. As a forbidden love between a mortal and a long-forgotten goddess begins to take hold, the existence of "forgotten gods" who feed on humans is revealed, leading to a deadly clash between the shogun's army and the clan of "forgotten gods".

For hundreds of years the Kouga and Iga ninja clans have been bitter rivals, but outright warfare between them has been forbidden. In 1614 a new generation of future clan leaders, Gennosuke of the Kouga and Oboro of the Iga, have fallen in love and are to be married, a union both fervently hope ends the centuries of conflict and bloodshed even though many of their kinsmen aren't happy about it.Their non-aggression pact annulled, the ten elite of each clan are to engage in a battle to the death to decide the issue. ||Black Lagoon (1 Hour - Rating: R)
Young Japanese business drone Rokuro Okajima was given a simple but important task by his company: carry a critical CD on a business trip to SE Asia. His mundane, metropolitan world gets turned upside down when a team of modern-day pirates called Black Lagoon not only steal the disk but kidnap him for ransom as well. When his employer decides that preventing the disk from falling into the wrong hands is more important than saving him, Rokuro finds himself thrown into the harrowing world of Black Lagoon, a world utterly unlike the one he knew before. ||Seto no Hanayome (1 Hour)
A young boy gets saved from drowning by a mermaid but, according to mermaid law, if a human sees a mermaid's true form, both have to be killed. The only solution to the problem is for him to marry her but her father, an undersea yakuza, is violently opposed to the union.
||Ouran High School Host Club (2 Hours)
The upper class pretty boys (and one level-headed lower class cross-dressing girl) of the Host club employ various stereotypes to entertain the girls of their school. Outstanding social relationship comedy.
||(4) Kashimashi (2 Hours - Rating: PG-13)
Hazumu was a shy boy. . One day he finally worked up the courage to confess his love to Yasuna, but she rejected him. Feeling dejected, he wandered up Mt. Kashimayama to the place where they first met to reconsider his feelings. After getting lost, he wished upon a shooting star which turned out to actually be a crashing alien spaceship. Although he was hit by the falling ship, Hazumu survived the crash thanks to some body reconstruction by the aliens, only they got it a little wrong. Now that he is a she.

||(5) Disgaea (1 Hour - Rating: PG-13)
The King of the netherworld has died and various demons are now building their own empires in an effort to take control. However, the late King's son has arrived and is out to reclaim his rightful place as ruler of the netherworld. Along to help him is his vassal Etna and Flonne, an angel-in training originally sent to assassinate the king only to find that he has already died.
||(11) Sumomomo Momomo, The Strongest Bride on Earth (2 Hours)
Momoko Kuzuryuu is a martial-arts crazed teenage girl who has grown up in the mountains with her father, a legendary fighter. However, one day her father tells her that because she is a girl, she will never be able to master the family's ultimate technique. The only thing for her to do is go marry the strongest warrior, and produce the strongest offspring.
