Summary of the November Meeting

The CoJ met on November 2 at LifeJourney Church. We were missing Treasurer
Kent Raquet, and InConJunction 33 and 35 Chairs Mel Kocias and Jeff
Thompson. All other officers were present. In guests we had Katt and Sean
McConnell of Wax Chaotic, who were performing during the Procrastinator's
Halloween Party, and Jennifer from the Darkside crew. We had around 32
adults and kids in attendance.

The October meeting minutes were accepted as published, with corrections.
There were no Treasurer's, InConJunction 33, or InConJunction 35 reports.
Drew briefly reported on InConJunction 34. We still have a few positions
open. See Drew if interested. Panel Submissions were opening the following
day. Andy reminded everyone of the upcoming Board meeting. There were a
couple brief committee reports, then we moved to Old Business.

In Old Business, Kat reminded everyone we would be at Valley Mills
Christian Church for the Anniversary Party in December. John, as
Vice-President, would be bringing drinks, paper products, and the meat.
The club members would provide sides and desserts. Watch your email for a
list of who's bringing what! We planned a karaoke non-meeting meeting for
the 15th at the Mucky Duck. We re-opened nominations for club office. The
nominees are listed below.

There was no New Business, so we moved to announcements. Of those still
relevant, Joe said Artemis is doing semi-regular gatherings. Bob is doing
woodwork if people need special Christmas gifts. Kat said INWAP will soon
be doing a Kickstarter for 7 Sins. Her son Jason was jumped and robbed,
but is okay. Ricky said on December 7, Five Year Mission, the Madeira, and
the Shake-Ups will be performing at Melody Inn. John mentioned Shrek: The
Musical will be at Fishers on the 15th and 16th. Randy said Gen Con's
pre-reg and hotel dates have been announced. Joe asked for good
thoughts/energy/prayers for his step-mother, who is having multiple
medical issues including renal failure and heart problems. Andy said Rick
Sikes had another stroke and is at the VA. He will post contact info in
email. Rob had to mock Purdue fans by mentioning that OSU had beaten them.

And that was it for the November meeting.

Summary of the November Board Meeting
 by Lynette Cowper

The Board met at Valley Mills Christian Church on November 23. All
officers except President Kat Robertson, Treasurer Kent Raquet, and
InConJunction 35 ConChair Jeff Thompson were present. Mike Cowper, Jeremy
Murray, and Wendy Carson were also present.

Lynette ran through the September Board minutes briefly. They were
approved as published. We ran down a few items with InConJunction 34 and
Pagan Pride. We discussed outreach to other cons and groups. Lynette
suggested we should have an Indiana con organizers gathering to consider
what we can do to help each other out. Discussion ensued. We're thinking
March-ish, perhaps before the CoJ meeting, with the top folks from Who's
Yer Con, Starbase, Pop Con, Darkside, and the Circle City Aerodrome
invited. We then touched on signage, the upcoming elections, and the next
meeting's agenda. And that was it for the November Board meeting.

Meeting Info
   The next meeting of the Circle of Janus is the club anniversary party
on Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Valley Mills Christian Church (where
we had the After-the-Con Bash), 5555 Kentucky Avenue, Indianapolis, IN,
starting at 7:00 pm. There is no ConCom meeting this month.
