Summary of the February Club Meeting

The club met on February 1 at VMCC. All the officers except InConJunction
35 ConChair Jeff Thompson were there. We had around 34 people there. We
approved the January minutes as published. Kent gave a brief Treasurer's
report. Drew reported that Kat Falls will be our first Young Adult author.
For 2015, Jeff is still looking for ConCom members. For 2016, Laura has a
GoH she needs to confirm before announcing her to the public. Andy gave a
brief summary of the January Board meeting.

In Old Business, we discussed who could act as club coordinator for the
New Year's Eve event. In New Business, there were a bunch of
appointments-- Archivist, Bob Richey; Webmaster, Jeff Thompson; Audit
Committee, Kim Richey, Laura Terhune, and Drew Happli; Newsletter Editors,
Lynette Cowper and Beckie Margedant; Member Services, Anjala Dick (unless
otherwise notified); Quartermaster, Ricky Lile (unless otherwise
notified).

We had just a few announcements. The still-relevant ones-- Randy Porter
mentioned the Dungeons & Dragons 40th Anniversary Brown Box Edition and
Playing at the World: The Scholarly Study of D&D, by Jon Peterson. He also
talked about problems with Gen Con housing. Kim Richey is looking to
borrow Disney movies, as Bob needs to see them.
