Mary Robinette Kowal is the author of the Lady Astronaut Universe, The Spare Man and historical fantasy novels the Glamourist Histories series and Ghost Talkers. She's a member of the award-winning podcast Writing Excuses and has received the Astounding Award for Best New Writer, four Hugo awards, the RT Reviews award for Best Fantasy Novel, the Nebula and Locus awards. Stories have appeared in Strange Horizons, Asimov's, several Year's Best anthologies and her collections, Word Puppets and Scenting the Dark and Other Stories. Her novel Calculating Stars is one of only 18 novels to win the Hugo, Nebula and Locus awards in a single year. As a professional puppeteer and voice actor (SAG/AFTRA), Mary Robinette has performed for LazyTown (CBS), the Center for Puppetry Arts, Jim Henson Pictures and founded Other Hand Productions. Joy Hernandez
Artist Guest of Honor

Joy Hernandez is an aerosol and acrylic artist and muralist, originally from Kewanee, Ill., but currently based out of Indianapolis. Like so many artists seem to say, she has been painting, drawing or otherwise involved in art for her entire life. Her work can be found at the Full Circle Nine Gallery, a gallery she founded and owns inside the Circle City Industrial Complex near downtown Indianapolis. With a background in animation, television news and journalism, Hernandez has created a colorful world of her own via her art, focusing on bright colors, subject matter that makes her happy or grabs her attention, and an appreciation of science fiction, pop culture, comic art and cartooning.

Five Year Mission
Music Guest of Honor

Five Year Mission is a band. They have been together for 13 years and are writing at least one song based on EVERY SINGLE EPISODE of Star Trek: The Original Series. As of today, their releases include five full-length albums (Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 as well as Spock's Brain) and their EP, The Trouble with Tribbles. Currently, they're hard at work writing the final run of TOS-inspired songs for the album, Year 5. Where do you know them from? Well, a lot of places. They have been the house band at the official Star Trek conventions in Las Vegas and Chicago. You may recognize them from being in a little traveling museum exhibit called "Star Trek: Exploring New Worlds" that has been around the U.S. You can hear their take of the Deep Space Nine theme during the end credits of the documentary What We Left Behind. Not only do they perform all around the country on their own, they have also acted as the backing band for the likes of Tim Russ (Tuvok; Voyager), Chase Masterson (Leeta; Deep Space Nine), Max Grodenchik (Rom; Deep Space Nine) and Tawny Newsome (Mariner; Lower Decks).

J.D. Kennedy
Gaming Guest of Honor

J.D. Kennedy is a tabletop game designer hailing from Indianapolis. They are a 20-year veteran of the industry, having worked on writing RPG adaptations for Star Trek, Stargate, Power Rangers and My Little Pony! They loved roleplaying games so much they decided to make a career out of it. Throughout their career they have worked to help broaden diversity within the TTRPG community as well as developing games that are inclusive and fun for everyone. Their award-winning work includes two Judge's Choice Ennies (for Ninja Crusade 2nd. Ed and Pip Core System), a BAMF!sie and multiple other Ennies. InConJunction will always be considered home for them because it was the very first convention they went to in 2002! Since then Kennedy has only missed one and always looks forward to them. Being a guest of InCon has been on their bucket list, and now they cannot wait to see you!

Mikey Mason
Toastmaster

Mikey Mason spent more than a decade as a full-time standup comedian. He headlined on all four coasts, performed multiple times each on NBC, at the legendary House of Blues and the Hard Rock Casino. He even headlined the Atlantis Resort and Casino in the Bahamas, but it wasn't enough. In 2011, he released a song expressing his geekier side (She Don't Like Firefly) that went viral on YouTube and got him featured on Nerdist online, SyFy, MTV Geek News, The Funny Music Project, DrDemento.com and even Time magazine. Thirteen albums, seven EPs and hundreds of songs later, his lifelong love for fantasy, science fiction, cats, video and role-playing games continues to inspire his music and help him evolve, not only personally, but musically and professionally. Today his profession is creating art and music with geeky themes. His performances are fueled by his passions and sharpened by long years of experience as a stand-up comedian. He's performed at theaters, bars, comedy clubs, casinos, colleges, festivals, and conventions across the U.S., hosted podcasts, exhibited at art shows, created a coloring book and more, continually expanding his horizons as to what his next project will be. Moxie Anne Magnus

LT. Moxie Anne Magnus, entertainer extraordinaire, mediocre comic and even mediocre-er ukulelist, sling-shots back in time to join you for your entertainment pleasure. But who is Moxie Anne Magnus? She is indeed a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma, laced up in a girdle, topped with two feet of hair and set on a pedestal of size 12, Starfleet-regulation, black, chunky-heel, platform boots! As the Chief Cosmetologist on the USS Enterprise of the 23rd century, She keeps the crew's dos in tip-top shape. But what more do we know about this magnificent creature who has often been called "the petite bird of the galaxy"? We know little of Moxie's childhood. Historically, the Magnus family were unusual among Scottish highland families as their tartan was not traditionally wool but sequined chiffon, and they eschewed the kilt in favor of the tutu. In addition, the family crest contains the motto "Girl, That ain't enough glitter!" Here in the 21st century, Moxie travels throughout the U.S. performing as the Queen of Outer Space. She's performed at many cons including Outlantacon, Timegate and Timelordfest. She's acted as con emcee at Indianapolis' Starbase Indy and InConJunction, and at Cleveland ConCoction, and even manned the 'Bridge Float' in Iowa's famous Trekfest parade. She's played in clubs and theaters up and down the East Coast including a run of Times Square cabaret shows coinciding with New York's Comic Con. When she's not performing she is working on her weekly web comic Tales From Salonbay. In recent years she has perfected the art and science of sling-shotting around the sun to arrive with a precision greater than renegade Timelords, Terminators or even mad scientists with tricked-out DeLoreans. As the self-proclaimed queen of outer space, she comes in peace! Her jokes will make make you groan, her ukulele playing will make you moan, but her glamour will make you forget your pain!

John F. Allen, Author

John F. Allen is an American author/writer and visual artist born in Indianapolis. He is a founding and active member of the Speculative Fiction Guild. He is also an active member of the Indiana Writers Center, where he serves as a faculty member and teaches classes on writing. John began writing and producing artwork and short stories early in his childhood and has pursued various forms of writing throughout his career. He studied liberal arts at IUPUI with a focus in creative writing and art, received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force and is a current member of The American Legion. John's debut novel, The God Killers, was published in 2013, followed by a spin-off novella series titled Codename: Knight Ranger. Creative Director of Per Bastet Publications. Author of the Sitehuti and Nefer-Djenou-Bastet stories and the award-winning Josh Katzen stories.

T. Lee Harris is a scribbler of the lowest order. Not only does she pen lies about people who don't exist, she draws pictures of them too. Harris, in the guise of a publisher with Per Bastet Publications, has aided and abetted others by putting their scribblings into book form; going so far as to devise covers for many of those tomes. She claims she went to school to learn these things, but that shouldn't be held against anyone. Harris is, in turn, aided and abetted by Per Bastet Publications, who have allowed her to run roughshod over history in her stories about an ancient Egyptian scribe and a magic temple cat, and spread her prevarications about a former football player and a 200-year-old vampire turned international law enforcement agents. Hydra Publications cannot escape blame; they have promulgated her lies about a retired spy who gets mixed up in other people's business. The Southern Indiana Writers' Group are possibly the worst offenders of all, having repeatedly permitted her to commit acts of literary vandalism with the Indian Creek anthology series. There are suspicions that Harris is committing another novel or two, but this has yet to be confirmed.

Leigh Kimmel
Leigh Kimmel, author of the Grissom Timeline rocketpunk novels.

Leigh Kimmel literally can't recall the first story she ever wrote, only that she wrote it some time in first grade. It would be one of several tales of imaginary worlds and magical beings she wrote at the time. In second grade she wrote a multi-page story in a spiral-bound notebook, telling the story of a world of merfolk under the sea. Unfortunately, most of these early writings have been lost over the years. Throughout her childhood and youth she kept writing, developing a succession of fantasy and science fiction worlds. During this period she learned how to see a writing project through to completion and made her first efforts at rewriting. Going to college gave her access to computers, which simplified the process of preparing a manuscript for submission to magazines. She also joined her first writing workshop and began to make professional connections. After completing degrees in Russian language and literature and library science, Leigh worked in public and academic libraries. During this period she experienced her first literary success, getting her stories published in various small-press publications. Wanting to broaden her career horizons in academia, she went back to graduate school to earn additional advanced degrees. During this period she attended her first science fiction convention. She also had her first academic writing published and discovered a ready market in articles for ready-reference publications for libraries. The 21st century brought changes: a husband, a house, a cat, and a business selling books and collectibles at conventions. She continued to write and submit fiction while doing non-fiction gigs. Her next big break came with the rise of e-books and the consequent indie revolution. She first experimented with serialization at the now-defunct Jukepop Serials before releasing her works through various online distribution platforms. At that point she created her own imprint, Starship Cat Press, to give her books an identity.

Jon R. Osborne turned a journalism education and a passion for role-playing games into writing science fiction and fantasy. His second book in The Milesian Accords modern fantasy series, "A Tempered Warrior" was a 2018 Dragon Awards finalist for Best Fantasy Novel. Jon is a core author in the military science fiction Four Horseman Universe, where he was first published in 2017. He now has eight novels and numerous stories published in multiple languages. David Lee Pancake's sculptures and illustrations represent a varied and unique repertoire of his personal interests. He pursues a wide variety of subject matter that includes dragons, superheroes, D&D characters, abstracts and horror sculptures, and paintings. His talent expresses equally in clay, canvas or computer. David loves to play with textures in his sculptures and his attention to detail is revealed in his careful application of dragon scales and feathers. Author, artist, poet and zine maker, Rue Sparks is a disabled and queer advocate who combines writing with art.

Author and artist Rue Sparks is an amalgamation of neurosis and nonsense held together by duct tape and sheer stubbornness. A widow, disabled and a member of the queer community, they traverse the equally harsh and cathartic landscape where trauma and healing align to create stories that burrow into the hearts and minds of their readers. In addition to The Stars Will Guide Us Back, Sparks has authored the novella Daylight Chasers and the magical realism/mystery novel The Fable of Wren. They volunteer as an artist for the indie publisher, Lost Boys Press. They live in Noblesville, Ind., in the USA with their sweet senior support dog and cantankerous cat.
