Summary of the April Club Meeting
 by Lynette Cowper

The club met on April 5. We had about 20-ish people in attendance
including all club officers except Sergeant-at-Arms Reed Hartman and
ConChairs Jeff Thompson and Laura Edwards. We had one guest, John F.
Allen, a local author, and one new club member, Kat / Jade.

We briefly went over the March minutes and had a Treasurer's report, then
Drew reported on InConJunction 34. We have a new Author GoH, John Hemry
who writes under the name Jack Campbell. We will be announcing that via
email and Facebook soon. We're doing ads in the Naptown Roller Girls bout
book. And we have a new Anti-Harassment Policy. We didn't have reports for
InConJunction 35 or 36. Andy reminded everyone we would have a Board
meeting on May 17th.

In Old Business, Laura is looking for volunteers to take 2-hour shifts at
Indy Pride, which is June 14th at the American Legion Mall downtown.
Please (pleasepleaseplease), see or email Laura to volunteer!

In New Business, we went over plans for after-meeting activities. May will
be gaming and a pitch-in. Bring food and games!

For announcements, Joe Greene reminded us that Programming suggestions
will be accepted until April 30th. Melissa Kocias talked about Sigma-Play,
a new convention down in Bloomington May 23-24th. The Starlite was bought
by a family and will be open! Randy Porter mentioned Wil Wheaton will have
a new show on SyFy. His Tabletop and other Geek and Sundry shows are up in
the air. Deb Hunt went to England and checked out the Harry Potter
Experience which was awesome! Various people recommended or were psyched
about Captain America 2, Caper, The 100, X-Men: Days of Future Past,
Godzilla, and Guardians of the Galaxy. And that was it for April!

Don't forget we're having a pitch-in and game night after the meeting.
Bring your favorite dish and tabletop games to share!
